The privatization of our airports could put these priorities at risk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Privatization can lead to :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Higher costs<\/strong>\u00a0for travellers and airlines<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Less connectivity<\/strong>\u00a0for rural, northern and smaller communities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Less public control\u00a0<\/strong>over critical Canadian infrastructure<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fewer good jobs\u00a0<\/strong>and the loss of experienced airport workers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Greater pressure to maximize profits\u00a0<\/strong>instead of reinvesting in our airports, workers and communities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Our airports should serve Canadians \u2013 not sharehol<\/strong>ders<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>We encourage all IAM members to stand up and make your voice heard.
