Meaningful Gains.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Bargaining committee of Anne Masangu, Titilayo Adekayo and Amritpal Kaur under the auspices of District 78&#8217;s dynamic Business Representative Sara Mitchell, secured a new one-year Collective Agreement <\/strong>with new ownership Spring Living, delivering a 3.5% general wage increase, special wage increases for Cooks and UCPs, improved bereavement leave and overtime provisions, plus a commitment to begin discussions on front-loading sick days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Members conclusively ratified the agreement on August 10, 2026 with the committee set to return to the bargaining table in Spring 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>United at the table.
