The celebration brought together union members, activists, and community allies to recognize the achievements of women while reaffirming the collective commitment to gender equity and social justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event served as both a celebration and a call to action, highlighting the important contributions women continue to make within the labour movement and across our communities. Participants had the opportunity to connect, share experiences, and engage in meaningful discussions about the ongoing challenges women face in the workplace and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speakers throughout the program emphasized the importance of solidarity, leadership, and advocacy in advancing women\u2019s rights. Their messages reflected the spirit of International Women\u2019s Day\u2014honouring the progress made while acknowledging that there is still important work ahead to ensure equality, respect, and opportunity for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The gathering created a welcoming space for reflection, learning, and collaboration.
