Mission Statement

The purpose of the Ontario Provincial Council of Machinists is to promote the interests of the membership of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers throughout the province of Ontario.

In order to unite IAM Lodges in the province, we join other locals in a unity of purpose and of action, providing leadership and direction for reaching out goals.

Our slogan, also that of the Machinists Union is: Justice on the Job, Service to the Community!

That is what motivates the OPCM, and all Machinists Union members. This is how we change society!
